How Tailwind Began
Tailwind Cafe grew out of Ryan Lynch's love for coffee shops and community. As an aviation pilot and founder of LiftOff Creamery and the NAYR Foundation, Ryan wanted a neighborhood spot where people could enjoy handcrafted lattes, share stories, and feel grounded before busy days and big ideas.

Tailwind blends a modern rustic coffee bar with the energy of our aviation-inspired creamery. We serve handcrafted coffee, fresh breakfast, and healthy sandwiches in a space designed for laptops, book clubs, and quick meetups, so guests can relax, study, or prep for the next meeting in comfort.

We are a Black-owned, locally rooted team that supports artists on our stage, readers through our lending library, and neighbors through sustainable practices and local ingredients, inviting everyone to help write Tailwind's ongoing story.
